When I set out to find my perfect wedding makeup and hair studio it didn’t all go to plan first time – it was a case of third time lucky!!

Finding the right space was hard, it really did take a couple of moves to find the home xx

I started off in a serviced office in a modern development. From a personal point of view working here was nice – there was an onsite cafe and a few other small businesses making it quite a social hub however, I could tell that my brides didn’t quite “click” with the space.
I could tell that they felt a little bit uncomfortable when having their trial, I think it was the business atmosphere that did it, really they needed somewhere to relax and feel at ease, towards the end of my lease the hunt was on!!

Luckily I found the perfect location quickly – and on the same road I live on to boot!! There was a choice of two rooms, a small one upstairs or a much larger one downstairs in an utterly charming Victorian Building.
I knew I wasn’t 100% at the time so I went for the upstairs one, I didn’t want to stretch the budget too far only to make another mistake and I felt that being conservative was the right choice for my new wedding makeup and hair studio!

Not even a month had passed, feeling cosy, maybe even a little cramped with my brides, I had signed the lease to move to the larger room downstairs!
